Find below an excerpt from OPERATION BETHANY

''He pushed off again, the slop dropping further. Fulton descended cautiously this time; placing one foot at a time in front of the other. It was a difficult track and it was about to get even more difficult. With the slope dropping nearly sixty degrees, Fulton began to circle away; taking a curve and going against the slope face. This was a route strategy he had conceived to hopefully throw anyone off his scent. He pressed upwards with the balls of his feet; breathing heavily. As he climbed upwards, he could hear more familiar sounds. This part of the woods had the crickets he knew. Their chorus welcomed him and he smiled with relief. He was now very close. Fulton was going to a discreet lab he now seriously doubted could protect his secret. The entrance was fortified with codes; six sets that must be entered quickly and accurately one after the other and in exactly eight seconds. These codes in the past had always given him a sense of invisibility and perhaps power. Tonight, however, what he’d spent years building and protecting was now under threat and there may be nothing he could do save it. But he is determined to win. Before it is put to such evil use, Fulton had decided to destroy everything. Then he and Han will both leave the country by separate airports.
The lab appeared behind a clearing. It was built of rough cut stones and a flat steel roof; sold to Fulton secretly by an Indian. At the door, he didn’t pause to wipe off the perspiration from his face. He quickly began punching in the codes. He was on the last set when he paused, listened. Something was oddly wrong. Then he knew.
The woods had gone deathly still.
The crickets were silent.
He turned and scanned the woods. All he could see was the dark grotesque images of the tall lean trees seemingly blending into one in the darkness. What is it? He could feel the hair rise on the back of his neck. He didn’t have time to think. Fulton spun around again and began re-entering the codes. He punched in the last number and was about to yank open the twin doors when the woods shrieked back to life!
Fulton almost passed out with shock. He collapsed backwards against the door; his hands clutching his chest as his eyes tore back behind him. The crickets were chirping in their highest registers. What is it? He turned and opened the door.
It happened very quickly. He didn’t hear it when the bullet was fired. But he could hear an echo that ricocheted across the woods like an evil acclamation. He felt it slam into his back and straight for his heart; his startled brain barely registered the pain. His body was lifted and flung forward. He landed far inside the lab. Blood spurted from his nose and mouth

Story plot below
A Jewish woman who lived in the time of Christ is in grave danger!
Operation Bethany goes back in time, five days before the crucifixion where a woman had approached Jesus at a feast organised in the hillside village of Bethany and anointed him with spikenards oil in the presence of guests and his disciples.
More than two thousand years later Sergio, a scientist stumbles on ancient Egyptian myth that tells of a rare ability and power in this oil used on Jesus. Then he hears that a time machine has been built by a physicist and commits murder. He retrieves the machine and in six days, plans to time travel to the past with a killer, to this night in Bethany and hunt down this woman before she gets the chance to waste the oil on Jesus.
Then, he will murder everyone at the feast.
Only a news journalist and an escaped catholic nun race against time to avert the unthinkable eventuality. Who lives and who dies? It's both a Thriller novel and a Suspense novel
